Nostrand and Howard Avenue Pocket Park

The newest pocket park in the Village, soon to be officially dedicated, is located at Nostrand & Howard Avenues.  This gem-in-progress is a site being restored under the leadership of the Committee for the Environment member Kate Dehais, along with residents and environment-loving friends from other parts of the county.  This once unassuming corner is being transformed into a garden with native plants, trees, shrubs, and pollinator plants alongside the Mamaroneck River.  Paths are being constructed, and plans for benches are in the works.  Interested in lending a hand?  Email the Committee for the Environment: cfte@vomny.org
