John E. Flynn, of Mamaroneck, sadly passed away on July 5, 2023, at age 49. He was born August 23, 1973, to Frank & Kathleen (nee Rilley) Flynn. John worked for many years in customer service. Music has always been an important part of his life and he has passed that passion on to his Abigail. He cherished playing darts as the Captain of The Goonies Dart Team along with Fortnite and Rockband and he loved to watch Jeopardy. A huge sports fan his teams were the New York Yankees and the New York Jets and the Buffalo Sabers. John is the devoted husband of Elsalee Jay “EJ” (nee Dalupan) Flynn. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his cherished daughter, Abigail Flynn and loving mother, Kathy Flynn. John is the dear brother of Thomas Flynn (Giselle, Derek), the nephew of Brian Rilley (Melissa Livingston) and Mary Ellen Faulkner (Ferris) and cousin of Katie Faulkner & Patti McClowry (Matt, Annabelle). John is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Leonard & Vivian Dalupan and siblings in-law, Analisa Johnson (Scott), Fran Vakirtzis (Montos), and Leonell Dalupan, along with many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He is predeceased by his loving grandparents Grams and Poppa (Edward and Margaret Rilley) and Uncle Jimmy Rilley. Hertha Frohlich Love died on June 29, 2023 after a short battle with ovarian cancer. Hertha was born in Linz, Austria on March 9,1949 to Albert Frohlich, Sr. and Veronika Jost. The family emigrated to the United States in1952 through the Displaced Persons Act. Hertha attended Harrison schools graduating in 1967. She was employed at Pure Foods in Mamaroneck before becoming a school bus driver for the Greenburgh and Mamaroneck School districts. On July 4, 1981 she married her soulmate, Robert Love Sr., and became the selfless and proud stepmother to Twanda Love-Porter (Rudy), Wendy Love-Washington (Jerome), Robin Love and Robert Love, Jr. Her husband predeceased her in 2007. In addition to her stepchildren, Hertha is survived by her siblings, twin-brother Albert Frohlich, Jr. (Patti - deceased), Maria Refino (Dominick) and Heinz Frohlich (Gail). She is also survived by four grandchildren; Almond, Marcel, Markese, and Emanuel-Ade; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Hertha was a lifelong animal lover, especially horses.
